Lobo, WSRFC
Name: Matt Parr
Occupation: Internal Auditor - IT Security
Dream Job: NFL Defensive Coordinator
Nickname:  Lobo
How long have you played with Suburbs: 4 years
Which team do you look forward to playing most and why: I'd say any club NOT in our division.  I enjoy going in cold not knowing the other team, and for better or worse we basically know the other D3 clubs inside and out by now.
Favorite Beer: Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin -OR- Dogfishhead Aprihop
Favorite Suburbs Memory: We had a big win vs. North Bay several seasons ago that, until a couple weeks ago, was the biggest win I've experienced.
Who has most impacted your rugby career and why: My old club president, Chubby, who taught me (aka screamed at me) how to slow things down and manage myself throughout 80 minutes of play.
What do you love most about Suburbs: We have great structure, organizationally as well as player-wise, and there are teamates who hold each other accountable.

It is a big week for Western Suburbs. Last Saturday, the Washington Renegades, a perennial powerhouse in our division, fell in defeat after a hotly contested game. The final results were 26-14. Western Suburbs and the Renegades played a close game, but in the end, Suburbs fell 15-17. Overall, we're at 4 wins, 0 losses for matrix play.

What? Two games isn't enough for you? Good! Western Suburbs Old Boys are taking on the Poltroons at 1 PM at South Lakes Drive Park on Sunday. The post-game social will be held at O'Sullivan's in Herndon too.

Name: Drew Cartwright
Occupation: Recruiting Manager
Dream Job: Brewmaster
Nickname: Surprisingly nothing ever stuck
How long have you played with Suburbs: 11 years
Which team do you look forward to playing most and why: It has changed over the years, but currently Renegades.  They are a good club and have had our number the last few years, but a team we can beat.
Favorite Beer: Lagunitas Little Sumpin Sumpin
Favorite Suburbs Memory: Winning the 2008 Division title
What do you love most about Suburbs? The people.  I've been with the club during undefeated and winless seasons, despite how things are going there has always been a core group of members that are passionate about the game of rugby and fun to grab a beer with.

Caldin Pletschke, WSRFC
Name: Caldin Pletschke.
Occupation: Student.
Dream Job: Mechanical Engineer.
Nickname: Kal-El / Superman.
How long have you played with Suburbs: 6 months.
Which team do you look forward to playing most and why: I would say the Renegades and the reason is that in spring when I just arrived, the first match I saw Suburbs play was against them and they just walked over us, so I'd like to see if they are as tough an opponent as they seem or was it just a bad day?
Favorite Beer: I would have to say it's a tie between 2 South African beers -  that is Flying Fish and Blue Label.
Favorite Suburbs Memory: My favourite Suburbs memory I would say is thrashing West Pot after losing to them in Dewey Beach and I got a harsh red card call.
What do you love most about Suburbs? I love the sportsmanship and brotherhood that Suburbs has, it doesn't matter if you just started playing or played for years, Suburbs makes you feel welcome and includes everyone.
