A Word from the President

Happy New Year Suburbs; I hope the Holidays were good for everyone. However, it is now time to focus on the upcoming Spring Season. Practice is just around the corner to which Harpold and Lyster are ready with their game plan. From the Fall Season, we all learned a lot about perseverance and dedication in our efforts to have a winning season. Unfortunately, the team fell short of that objective.

This is a new year, with new objectives and new outlooks to the future. I have again made objectives for the Team:

1) Get Fit - Fitness is the key to victory!!
2) Pay your dues - Veterans front and center
3) Make Efforts, not Excuses
4) Dedicate yourself - It all begins with you!!
5) Be a Champion - Practice like one, Play like one!!

The Spring Season is a springboard for the Fall. That means Tournaments, which means playing time for everyone. This is great opportunity to show Lyster, Harpold, and the rest of the Team your Machismo. All it takes is effort, dedication and a desire to win.

The spring season is getting into full swing with the first practice on February 6th. The practice will be held on Saturdays, 10.00 - 12.00 and Tuesdays/Thursdays, 6.30 - 8.30. All practices will be held at Dunn Loring School. Dunn Loring is on Gallows Road approximately 2 ½ miles North of the Gallows and Route 29 interchange. (Here's a map.) Make an excuse to go to practice not an excuse to miss it!
